Aptharakshaka, a Kannada film which is a sequel to Apthamithra (Kannada Chandramukhi) was released on the 19th of February and is running to packed houses, creating new records in Karnataka. The film has the late Vishnuvardhan in the lead role which happens to be his 200th and last film. Vimala Raman and Sandhya also play important roles in the film. The film’s director P Vasu has received appreciation for his innovative style in handling the screen play. Aptharakshaka was screened to Vishnuvardhan’s best friend Rajinikanth who was moved to tears when he saw the film. He is also said to have liked it very much. |
